Old Children’s Costumes

The school has asked for our help in relation to donating children’s costumes that can be used for school plays. If you have any children’s costumes at home that you no longer need, can you please bring them into your daughter’s class teacher. We are particularly looking for costumes suited to role play (doctors, nurses, teachers etc) as well as the usual nativity and animal costumes.

Future Fundraising…

The school are always trying to think of new ways of raising funds for our school, some fundraising events that will be held this year include the following;

‘Mobile Phone Recycling’ – no idea what to do with your old mobile phones lying around the house?  Or you may have just got a new one for Christmas… We do… look out for details regarding this scheme where we will be asking the girls to bring old mobile phones into the school, where we can then sell them on for much needed school funds!

 ‘Scrap Saturday’ – yes that’s right, we want your scrap!  Broken tools, wheel barrows, bikes, prams, trampolines, gas heaters, bbqs, washing machines… if it’s metal we want it!  Date and details of this event to be confirmed.

 ‘Clothes Recycling’ Staying with the recycling theme, we will be asking you to declutter your home of old clothes, shoes etc and bring them to school, similar to the boys school scheme at the moment.

Any other ideas are always welcome!  Please discuss with your class rep.

Below please find a list of each individual Class Rep (please consult your class contact list for contact details), who will be;

  • Attending Association committee meetings on your behalf and feeding back on issues of interest to you
  • Coordinating help from the class parents for different events
  • Organising nights out for the class parents
  • Organising a class communications list
